ABOUT

My name is Hamada Madih. I've lived in the city of Safi for most of my life. Safi is the Pottery Capital of Morocco, utilizing the abundance of red clay in its surroundings to create pottery works for hundreds of years. Continuing these traditions I've been working with clay for more than two decades.

In 2015 I participated in Sanaât Bladi, a popular moroccan reality show for artists of traditional crafts, and won first place amongst the potters.

I like to design innovative pottery designs, to teach pottery, and to swim in Safi's red-sand beach.
